Fare-Thee-Well - New Album
Imagine Beck hooked up with the Beatles and Bob Dylan in 1966 to create some warm psychedelic funk-folk. Leading the way are ghostly acoustic guitars and walls of percussion.
Think Beck, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, Gomez, Badly Drawn Boy.

This Is Not A Revolution - 2-disc album
Andy piles on his weird pop music with layers of instruments, from acoustic guitars to funky electric pianos to banjos to bongos to toy pianos.
Think Beck, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, Gomez, Badly Drawn Boy.
This Is Not A Revolution- a two disc set- is the American White Album. So, when America cracks and drifts, this will be an instant classic soundtrack to always take you to a better place.

Everyday Peepholes
album by andy conrad & the bellheads
It's scruffy white funk. Somber, swinging, spaced out songs about small-towns and society. The melodies are memorable, you can bounce to the beats and Andy's singing is both soulful and soothing.

Artificial Junk
One of the best albums I bet no one has ever heard of
author: Chas Danner
Artificial Junk is just a wonderful album. It has all the quirks and layers you come to love about a CD you can listen to all the way through, over and over. Its got the same pop hook technology I adore in "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot", with the occasional melancholy of "Sea Change", and the production forethought of Joeseph Arthur or AIR. But it's not really like anything else I've heard too. To make comparisons too often suggests that something is contrived and this is not. Such a perfect blend of good lyrics and fine multi faceted production. Even some excellent instrumental tracks. I just can't believe it hasn't been picked up by a major independant label.
